Feedback on the HP ENVY Pavilion dv6

Your website indicates the HP Envy Paviliion dv6 is certified with manufacturer pre-installation of Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/201209-11641/

I phoned HP sales to inquire about this configuration, and the sales rep didn't even know what Ubuntu is !!!!!

Can you please help clarify this situation?

Jeff Lane suggests this article as an answer to your question. The short answer is that vendors sell in various markets, and the P6 with the pre-installed Ubuntu may not be available in your area, while appearing in storefronts in another.
