Ubuntu-Certification

Certification of Lenovo ts430 status and offer of assistance.

I support about 160 Ubuntu servers (90% Lucid & 10% Hardy), we recently started to like the ts430 server from Lenovo for our open source EMR, OSCAR.

We use the LSI mega raid card and the IPMI2 features of the system board.

There is no official certification listed for this tower, but I would be interested in applying the test suite myself and sharing the results in the spirit of open source.

Do you have a process available for this?

Hi,

Official certification can only be requested by OEMs. Since we've had many offers like yours in the past, we established the Ubuntu Friendly programme - http://friendly.ubuntu.com

Unfortunately this programme does not support testing of servers, so in this case you're stuck. Thanks again for the offer though!
