Get the "Works with Ubuntu" Logo

Asked by Felix Engemann

We sell mini-PC systems preinstalled with Ubuntu (www.cirrus7.com). Since one year and for the third time we tried to apply for the "Works with Ubuntu" Logo - without success. Only answer we get is an automatic mail response:

Thank you for contacting us. If you have written with a business sales query, we will respond within a day or two. We get so many requests that we are not able to answer consumer or end user questions, but the following links may be helpful:

Best regards

The Canonical Team

We really would like to get the logo and eventually get also the Ubuntu certified hardware logo. But there is no way for us to get in touch with canonical. Can anyone from canonical reading this help me to get in contact with the right person?

Best regards

Felix Engemann (cirrus7 computing)

Possibly:

If you contact a sticker printer, you can make your own :)

Take that image and grab a sticker company, see if they will make you a whole bunch up, should be cheap

Hi Andrew,

it is not a problem about stickers ! From:

http://www.canonical.com/sites/default/files/active/images/datasheet_WorksWithUbuntu.pdf

Manufacturers enter a trade mark usage agreement with
Canonical that provides them with the rights to use the
‘Works with Ubuntu’ logo, subject to usage guidelines.

The "works with Ubuntu" logo is a program for peripherals and not systems as such. If you would like to be part of the Ubuntu Certified programme, you will need to fill in the following form:

https://forms.canonical.com/partners/

For more information about how the programme works, please refer to the following guide:
https://certification.canonical.com/static/docs/Ubuntu_Certification_Programme_Guide.pdf
