Can't buy preinstalled 10.10 on Dell Latitude E5520

Ubuntu certification refers to preinstalled 10.10 only on the Dell Latitude E5520.
Dell say they can't sell it pre-installed.
How does that work ?

This is all they will give me by way of 'guarantee'.

Hi Neil,

This system is known to have problems with Ubuntu 10.10 using a 'stock' Ubuntu image (the one available from ubuntu.com). The Dell agent may have a different definition of 'support' than you do, or we do.

The aim is to have it working well with Ubuntu 11.04 (out very soon).
