Which version of Ubuntu to use?

If your system has been awarded the status of "certified for Ubuntu", we would recommend you to use the latest certified version of Ubuntu listed there for that system*.

If your system has been awarded the status of certified pre-install for Ubuntu, or not certified at all, it's not guaranteed that it will work as expected with the stock image, we would recommend you to give the latest LTS (Long-Term Support) version of Ubuntu or the latest version of Ubuntu a try, they could be downloaded here: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop
