Google calendar: select different calendars

Asked by Christopher Bludau

I added my google account to the account lists and selected it inside the calendar app.

But only one (my main?) calendar is shown; my private one.
Other calendars are not shown. For example the calendar with my work events is mising.

Calendars that have been shared with me are not showing up either.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to select these calendars?

OK. Found bug 1309042.
So this is indeed a problem.

I'm new to the ubuntu phone. However I've got two calendars set up and they both seem to be syncing! I think all I did was to touch the three small horizontal lines at the top right corner of the app. That opens up a drop down with two options, one of which is Calendars. Touch that and you get the option to Add online Calendar. You probably know all this.

I've added Google calendars for both my Gmail accounts, given them different colours to distinguish them and made sure that the box to the right of them is ticked. Whilst I can't see how to search the calendars, if I go to any date in which both of them have appointments in them the appointments from both calendars show up. They do so in both day and week view.

The problem is: I only have ONE google account. Not two.
In that one google account I have multiple calendars (more than two). But only the main one is synced.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your tips though :)
Sadly it will not solve the problem outlined in the bug posted above.

Same issue here.

Maybe an import function of ICS calendars would help since it is supported by several calendar providers. If the automatic sync doesn't work, a user will be able to import an ICS file as a workaround.
