TorrentServer Handler

need to install mldonkey?

Hi. do I need to install mldonkey (from sf.net) to use TorrentServer Handler in Firefox? I thought perhaps this extension came with mldonkey. I'm asking because whenever I try to use this extesion from the right-click menu I get:

Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:12322.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Yes, you do need an mldonkey server running, as it is the "engine" used for downloading.

Installing and configuring mldonkey can be a handful, fortunately the task is made simple using the TurnKey Torrent Server [1], which also comes with more goodies. The naming similarity is no coincidence either, we developed the handler to be make the appliance even more useful, even though it can be used with a stock mldonkey installation.
