Problem with gnome timer applet

Asked by Homer Simpson

Hi guys,

I have installed gnome-timer-applet, since I need some kind of software timer - I am using Mandriva Linux One 2010.2.
Installation went smoothly, (through Rpmdrake) but how do you use this applet ?

Supposedly, this applet has to be added manually to the gnome panel by right clicking and using function "Add to Panel ..." but the timer is not there.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Homer Simpson,

Did you already restart GNOME or your system? (STRG + ALT + Backspace
does it). Try that, and then check again. :)
