Timekpr-nExT status info on lock screen (Kubuntu 22.04)

Asked by conre

As far as I recall while kids had been using GNOME few months ago, when Timekpr-nExT locked the user out, the user could see Timekpr-nExt status icon close to the "password" field before unlocking the session - either red lock (time expired) or a green one (time not expired yet). This was with Archlinux (GDM + GNOME).

Now, in Kubuntu 22.04 with SDDM, there is no such Timekpr-nExT status icon on the lock screen. The user has to unlock the session to find out that time expired (and after a few seconds, his session gets locked again by Timekpr-nExT as expected).

Can the status icon be shown on the lock screen to inform the user before unlocking the session?

P.S. I do not have GNOME installation readily available to test.

Sounds like a useful feature, however this is a feature of lockscreen itself, I did not even knew it existed :)

Can you help with this problem?
