Completed Task filtering in Edit Effort screen

In the Task view, I am able to hide completed tasks by using View - Filter - Hide Completed Tasks. I also use a custom sort of my tasks.

In the Effort View / Effort details, you can double-click an effort to edit it. I typically use it to adjust start or end date and time, but I sometimes need to change the actual Task that was selected. In the Task drop-down of this Edit Effort screen, Completed tasks are not hidden, nor does the custom sort apply - it defaults to alphabetical.

Is there a way to hide Completed tasks from this list? I can deal with the default alphabetical sort if I could just get rid of Completed tasks.
