Reminders carried to next cycle for recurring task

I have set up several recurring tasks with reminders. After the reminder date has passed, the reminder goes away. After I have completed the task, will a reminder show up for the next cycle?

If you dismiss the reminder by clicking "OK" when it pops up, it's deleted. If you click "Mark task completed" from the reminder popup though, it won't be deleted and will be adjusted to the next start date.

I don't think that answer is valid (any more?). In v1.3.36 and v1.4.2.6625 clicking on OK does a 'snooze', moving the reminder into the future.

Can you help with this problem?
