Start and display System Installer Dialog

Asked by Jeff Mills

So I am wondering if there is a way to start Systemback from the Installer dialog when you are running and logged into the live version of your backup, the same as if you choose Install from the boot menu? Is there a switch I can use to do this, I have tried to work out how with /usr/lib/systemback/sbsustart systemback, however I have had no luck.

Thanks

Jeff

Yes, you can use the following command:

systemback-sustart finstall

This seemed to work when I first tested the command from your reply in a terminal, however all it seems to do now is show the Systemback user authentication, am I doing something wrong?

No (I guess), this method works only if the Live is a Systemback created system. So the Systemback detect the environment, and ignoring this command line option if the system is not right.

Can you help with this problem?
