how to work on a root filesystem shared with samba?

Asked by salatt

I mounted a root filesystem shared with samba with option force user = root in smb.conf on /media/system with cifs
Can systemback work with it like a local partition mounted on /dev/xxx ?

Maybe this mount point is selectable as storage directory, but you will get an error message when try to create a restore point. Because the Systemback try to clone the filesystem items permissions, but in this case it will not succeed.

Can you help with this problem?
