Error with Cyberduck 4.1 on MAC OS 10.6.8

I haven't tried the latest Cyberduck but have you thought about upgrading swift to at least 1.3 version ? 1.2 is pretty old. I say 1.3 and not 1.4.1 because swauth is a separate project on the 1.4.1 release, so if you go with 1.4.1 there will be just a bit more work but nothing crazy. https://github.com/gholt/swauth

Thank you very much. Could you please direct me to a link
to 1.3 installation? If one follows the current multinode
installation, we will end up in 1.2.0 as that is what in the
Ubuntu 10.04 repository. I would be much obliged if you
could send me a link for multinode installation of 1.3.

Hi Anne,

I have Cyeberduck 4.0.2 (compiled from source) working
without any problem on my MAC laptop. Some of our users who
were testing it started installing Cyberduck 4.1,which was
released couple of weeks ago. The problem is specific to
Cyberduck 4.1. It can only list the containers, not
objects. It looks like something is going into a infinite
loop when you click the right arrow.

Sorry for the delay here. I just actually tried the latest cyberduck with an openstack-swift 1.3.0 SAIO setup and indeed it goes into a crazy loop. Have you tried to open a bug report with cyberduck ?

samething happens on 1.4.1 version of swift ... this is a cyberduck issue

Thank Marcelo for confirming it. Could you please post a bug report with Cyberduck? I am new to both Swift and Cyberduck. So, I wouldn't be able to help them with any debugging in case they need it.

Hi,

There is bug report already with cyberduck in regards to this issue. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Until then you will need to use 4.0.2 to work properly.

Hi Prakashan,

According to the ticket http://trac.cyberduck.ch/ticket/6089 the bug should be fixed on the next milestone for version 4.1.1. I suggest you keep an eye on that cyberduck ticket in order to keep updated.
