cannot be used for Jordan, India, Pakistan, etc.

Asked by Cynthia Sulaiman

When looking at cities in the Middle East like Amman Jordan or on the subcontinent like Rawalpindi, Pakistan or the Girawali Observatory in India Stellarium will turn to daylight shortly after 20:00 (about 20:15). Among other things it is difficult to use this tool for teaching when the sky "suddenly" turns to bright daytime. This is something that should be fixed.

Stellarium uses the timezone from operating system and when you change location in Stellarium he don't changes timezone automatically.

Change the time on the os does not change the result. It is dark at 19:00 and still dark at 20:00 and then suddenly changed to daylight at around 20:15 - with not gradual lightening just bright.

You can use the time zones plugin if your system time is not the time of the simulated location.
And of course there is gradual twilight and sunrise, not sudden brightness.
