contribute sky new culture

Asked by pierluigi pagni

Hi! my name is Pierluigi Pagni and I work for SBEA (Brazilian Society for the Astronomy Education) and we have a research about the TUKANO Tribe in Amazonia envolving almoust all constellations of their culture. With the field research with Tukanos, we got the stars that form all the constellations and after this, we found the sky objects and constellations on the star chart and now we have pages of constellation parts (tukanos constellations are divided in parts), constellation Lines ans also constellation Art.
We want to contribute with all those draws of the constellations and the full thesis that contain the full research about the Tukano Sky.
We want to know how to contribute.. witch way we have to go..
thank you for your attention!

Hello!

If you have complete new sky culture then you can propose it for Stellarium. This possible via two different ways:
1. You can make a own branch for sky culture, contribute, check of working and in latest step propose it for merge to trunk.
2. You can prepare your sky culture and send me zipped archive via email.

For way 1 you need this sub-project of Stellarium - https://launchpad.net/stellarium-skycultures (I think some help you can get from this question - https://answers.launchpad.net/stellarium-skycultures/+question/203600)

If you can't work with bazaar or having technical questions then you can direct contact with me via email or launchpad.
