Hi,

I have some feature requests, please. Would it be possible to allow DSOs to have different symbols depending on the object class? Furthermore, it would be helpful if the size of the symbol was proportional to the angular extent of the object. Finally, it would be useful if one were able to turn on or off selected classes or groups of objects, such as galaxies, or Messier objects.

Thanks for the software, btw. I find it much easier to use and more intuitive than Starry Night.

Partly this can be done only after the implementation of blueprint "Update the current NGC catalog to a new updated one" - https://blueprints.launchpad.net/stellarium/+spec/new-ngc-catalog
