remote GUI (web or TCP) on Windows ?

What do you think about remote Windows GUI (for example, as in Deluge) for this?

***hope I am doing this right, just created an account specifically to ask about this***
The webUI is very handy for a media centre + storage machine that runs day and night seeding torrents for example. Transmission has this functionality and it means I can add torrents from my netbook over wifi, or even (if the port is forwarded) while I am on the road...

Could you explain in more detail what you mean by that? I haven't used Deluge.

Imagin: u have server with linux OS, installed Steadyflow there; and Windows machine with Java (or C++ or web) program that can control by network Steadyflow on server, get norifications when download complete and more on. Server can download when Windows PC is off, then user can easy download it from server hard disk.

I'm not sure what the point would be.

Steadyflow is a GUI download manager meant for Linux desktop users, not server users.

The very point of a download manager is to get files from a remote machine transferred to the local machine. Ergo, I see little point in exposing Steadyflow by network. There are already other, tried and true solutions for that; if you want a console download manager that you can run on the server, just use wget + ssh.
