Time left increments instead of decrementing

The panel in the bottom left of the pane, intended to show time to completion, increments whilst processing a single file, instead of decrementing. It does reset when one file is finished, but increments from the reset time. This becomes noticeable with large files, such as radio programmes or symphonic movements. One assumes there is a + instead of a - somewhere in the source code.

In the code, progress is based on the index where we are in the current file, and its duration.
I think what you are experiencing is that the duration is not known, so it's updated while processing.
This can happen in VBR MP3s.
I'll check and open a bug if confirmed.
