Auto run plugin on capture

I would just like to know if there is a way to auto run a plugin on a capture when it is capture, for example the Torned Paper plugin. I use snagit in windows all the time with the torn edges effect and love it, this plugin is the equivalent and just would like to have it autorun before saving the file to make everything nice and quick.
