Register for forums?

Hi. I'm trying to register for the user forum. The captcha just stinks. You try to drag the box over to the right, as requested. It goes only so far, then stops. I've tried five times! Can someone assist me in getting on to the forums? Thanks!

I have temporairly disabled the captcha. Please tell me when you have registered so that I can re-enable it.

Sigh. got this message when I tried to register:

A new user was registered with the same IP address as you within the
last hour. To prevent registration flooding, at least an hour has to
pass between registrations from the same IP. Sorry for the inconvenience.
