How to install a plugin?

I have downloaded the scribes.edit.disable-auto-save 0.2.3 plugin from http://pypi.python.org/pypi/scribes.edit.disable-auto-save but can't find any information on the scribes website/forum/documentation on how to install it.

I feel like I'm being particularly stupid and missing something extremely obvious.

You can put it in ~/.config/scribes/GenericPlugins

I have moved the folder scribes.edit.disable-auto-save-0.2.3 to ~/.config/scribes/GenericPlugins.

Should the plugin automatically be detected and installed or do I have to run scribes with an option to install.

So far the advanced configuration window hasn't changed to include the auto-save options.

Drop PluginDisableAutoSave.py in ~/.config/scribes/GenericPlugins .

Then restart Scribes.

pkill scribes

Nope, still nothing.

I moved PluginDisableAutoSave.py into ~/.config/scribes/GenericPlugins/ and ran the pkill command.

But when I started Scribes and opened the Advanced Configuration window there was still no sign of the plugin working.

Does Scribes still save automatically?

I'm sorry, I was so busy looking for the configuration window to change and it didn't even cross my mind to check if the plugin had adjusted the behaviour of the program.

Problem solved with original suggestion.
