Creating new file when opening scribes in shell with "scribes <filename>"?
Asked by

Scribes always complains that the file doesn't exist when I try to open a non existing one with "scribes <new filename>". Would it be possible to do create an empty file if it doesn't exist yet?
Such a feature would give three advantages..
a) no need to touch <filename> before opening scribes
b) the right syntax hightlight based on the extension even for new files
c) the file would be autosaved at the right spot right from the beginning
