Add multiple instances of a lesson on one day

When defining the Timetable is there a way to add multiple instances of a listed lesson in a single day i.e. Science at time A, and time C on Tuesday?

Yes. But's it is called Schedule in the menu of a Section page. School Timetable only defines the periods, i.e. A, B, C, D.
