Custom translation

I've almost finished offline ST Lithuanian translation but I'm holding it back for a while since it's been orientated towards higher education institution (i.e. university). The main reason - terminology.

So my question is, is it possible to create a "profile" for translations, so institution could choose translation for district school or university?

If it's not an option, I'd like you to "green light" upload of "modified towards university" Lithuanian translation to Launchpad.

There is no special support for translation variants. You could try lt_LT_VU.mo, but there may be problems, e.g. no such locale.

Secondary schools in Lithuania use TAMO.lt gradebook and do not need SchoolTool. You may be the only user of SchoolTool in Lithuanian, so go ahead and upload what you have.

Do not forget to update Last-Translator in .po file
