Removing an account from sameplace

Asked by Inspired

I have installed sameplace extension into Thunderbird.
I set it up with a Gtalk account.
I also set up a Sameplace account and added an MSM account to this.
The MSM account does not work, as I have the wrong password. So I won't to remove it.
It generates an error in a chat tab each time I start up TB.

I can not see where to remove the MSM account I set up in Sameplace.

Please advise.

Thanks

First of all, MSM = MSN (at least, i hope)...

Well, Open "People" --> "Hide/Show Offline Contacts". Full list of contacts 'll be in contact list. Next, search for "msn.sameplace.cc" (it's name of transport, which provide connections to MSN). Remove it.

Jonathan,

either remove msn.sameplace.cc from contact list as advised by X-Pilot, or simply re-register to MSN transport from the Account Wizard using the correct password.
