Is it possible to add a post-installation script?

Is it possible to include a post-installation script to the package using quickly?

In particular I'm looking to run a daemon after the package is installed.

Thanks for your interest in Quickly. Sure, it's possible :) Once you have made your first "quickly package (or quickly share/release) you have a debian/ directory. There, you can create a debian/postinst file.

This file a a shell script that is launched after installation and upgrade. You can have a look at http://www.debian.org/doc/FAQ/ch-pkg_basics.en.html (section 7.6) for more info.
