How to add Fit-Page-Size and Fit-Width to View Toolbar?

Asked by Ev Bacon

Hi! I've just started using qpdfview and really like how well it works overall. I have a question about the area of Edit -> Settings -> Interface -> View Tool Bar. I can't figure out how to add Fit-Page-Size and Fit-Page-Width but I haven't been able to on my own.

Could you help me shed some light on this for me? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

The view tool bar setting is a comma-separated list of action names, i.e. to add an action you just edit the value of the text field adding e.g. from "scaleFactor, zoomIn,zoomOut" to "scaleFactor, zoomIn,zoomOut,fitToPageWidthMode, fitToPageSizeMode". Note that you need to restart the application for this to take effect. The names of the available actions should be documented in the online help. Admittedly not very comfortable, but nobody has found the time and inclination to add something more sophisticated as of now.

Best regards, Adam.
