ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 dependencies

Asked by quimojoy

Hi all,

Quimo 1.0 ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 dependencies problem.

Package broken
Installed version: 1.52.1ubuntu1

depends: libc6 (>=2.4)
depends: ndiswrapper-common
suggests: ndiswrapper-source

instaled libc6 version:
libc6 2.8~20080505-0ubuntu9
libc6-dev 2.8~20080505-0ubuntu9
libtext-iconv-peri 1.7-1build1
libc6-i686 2.8~20080505-0ubuntu9

So, as you can see, I have updated libc6, libc6-dev and libc6-i686 packages.
Dependencies are still there.

I would relly appriciate help here.

Thanks in advance.

of course... sorrie...

Quimo is on laptop with pcmcia wireless card wg511v2. I had to install ndiswrapper to install driver for that card. Ndiswrapper works fine, but package manager is reporting this problem and won't update my system until I solve this.

Something is wrong between ndiswrapper and libc6 packages. I don't know how to deal with this.

Sorry, ndis-wrapper stuff is beyond my area of expertise. Since it's probably not Qimo specific, you can try reporting it as a bug against the ndis-wrapper project. Qimo is based on Ubuntu 8.10, they'll probably want to know that.
