Asked by Steph Hutchings

Hi

I've just installed qimo-session (version 2.0.0) on my 10.04 Lucid install..works well but I don't get any choice to choose any languages other than english, so can't use it in French...can I get the french translation from anywhere?

Thanks
Steph

You have the option to select a language when you boot from the CD, and also during the installation process itself. After installation, you can change your language settings or install new language packs from Menu->Settings->Language Support.

I'm not using the CD just a ubuntu session package, when I access Menu->Settings->Language Support I only have english variants listed...is the session package limited to english only?

I have found how to switch language within some application (for example gCrompris) but not at the higher level...

Okay, if you just installed the qimo-session package, you'll need to install any additional language packs you need. From the Language Support dialog, you will have the option to download and install more language packs. See this screenshot: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/125/qimolanguages.png

Most of the games should use your system-wide language settings, however a couple of them will need to be set within the game itself.

Can you help with this problem?
