Why is no merge tool available for duplicate conflicts?

I have duplicate conflicts and I want to solve them in the qconflicts window with my configured merge tool (KDiff3). The merge tool itself works fine with text conflicts, but I cannot select it with duplicate conflicts. Opening "file" and "file.moved" in my merge tool would really help - but now I have to do this manually.

So why isn't my configured merge tool available for these conflicts?
