could not rename error

Asked by code banshee

These are the structures i'm using

MyMusic/artist - album.jpg
and want it to be...
MyMusic/artist/album/.folder.jpg

here are the settings i was using

File selection pattern: *.jpg
Add files recursively: no
Original file name pattern: {X} - {X}.{X}
Renamed file name pattern: {1}/{2}/.folder.jpg

The preview is correct. for example: artist/album/.folder.jpg

How ever the error comes up: 'Could not rename error - /media/ExHDD/My Music/Akala - It's Not a Rumour.jpg to /media/ExHDD/My Music/Akala/It's Not a Rumour/.folder.jpg'

The My Music folder is a folder on an external HDD. However am running your program under sudo so it should have all the permissions it needs.

this is what i'm trying to do:
I want to use the album art collected by Rhythmbox and copy to it to the actual folders where the music resides so other players can access these images. I've already copied the images to the Music folder. Incase you want to reproduce the errors and you use rhythmbox, you should be able to find the images in your '/home/USER_NAME_HERE/.gnome2/rhythmbox/covers'

I hope i've given you all the info you need. PS (UBUNTU 8.04TLS)
