no header added

Asked by elodg

What could possibly cause the header missing from the e-mail, when the log file clearly shows it being added:
"policyd-spf[25616]: Action: prepend: Text: Received-SPF: None (no SPF record) identity=mailfrom; client-ip=91.189.90.139; helo=adelie.canonical.com; <email address hidden>; receiver=*@*"

The same thing is happening no matter the result of the SPF check.

I am talking to myself here, but in case it might help someone, the header_checks feature of postfix was removing the header added by the policy server.
The idea was to remove all authentication headers from incoming e-mails and do validations in milters to re-add them. Pypolicyd-spf on the other hand is a policy server and any header added by it is found by header_checks too.

Glad you got it worked out. I've been really busy with no time to answer questions recently.
