Is it possible to use Popper with FreePops?

Asked by kofm

I use "FreePops" (http://www.freepops.org/en/) to access a POP server (It's the only way). Is it possible to configure it to work with Popper? The server address should be 127.0.0.1:2000 but i can't manage to get it work; Popper test never succed, but i can receive emails regularly with Evolution.

Testing account 1: 127.0.0.1:2000
Test failed. Could not connect to 127.0.0.1:2000.

(I've tried with IMAP checkbox checked or not)

Any idea?

Thanks for your literally A W E S O M E work :)

Hi kofm

The reason why this does not work is that Popper does not support other ports than the standard one. We have this request on our wishlist. Maybe this will be implemented in version 0.26 (February 2011).
