Keyboard navigation?

Asked by zoso375

Is keyboard navigation and/ or shortcuts planned? The ability to scroll through tweets with j/k (or some such) and navigating between columns would be huge, I'm sure, for power users.

You can currently scroll and navigate between columns with the arrow keys. I'm not sure what you're asking for.

I'm talking about complete navigation with the keyboard- highlighting a tweet and scrolling through them with j (next tweet) and k (previous tweet) and acting on the highlighted tweet (r to reply, s or f to favorite, q to quote, etc), and- I'm dreaming here- a global shortcut to open the "compose" box, so that wherever I am, I can hit, say, Ctrl-Alt-P to open and put focus on the compose box. Whatever the implementation, I'm talking about never having to touch the mouse to use Polly.

You can currently use the arrow keys to scroll and switch between columns, and you can also use Tab to navigate through each widget of each tweet. This needs some refinement and I can certainly add more shortcuts in the future, but I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the current version that can be done only by mouse.

To open/close the compose box, you can use Ctrl+n.

Can you help with this problem?
