Any chance we might see Compiz Scale support in Plank?

Given that the DBus Compiz plugin provides a simple way to interface with Compiz, is it worth considering adding support for Scale, a la DockbarX? Personally, I find the use of popups AND scale for window groups in DockbarX to be rather pointless, when simply triggering scale for the window group would get the job done... When used in conjunction with the scale addons and scale filter, it could provide slick window management without adding unnecessarily to Plank.
