Possible Memory Leak with Heavy Insert InnoDB Config

I built mysql from the source distribution available here: http://www.percona.com/mysql/5.0.67-b7/source/ and have it running on an Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Amazon EC2 m1.large machine, with all the data files on Amazon EBS volume. The application that is using the database performs a fairly large volume of inserts into a normalized schema, about 7 million insert per day. What I've noticed is as those inserts are occurring MySQL's memory consumption steadily increases until the machine runs out of RAM and shuts down. I'm including the output from mysqlreport, and the output of show variables, and the output of free. I recently increased the swap file size which means the app runs longer, but it looks like it's destined to run out of memory as well. I'm not sure if this is a bug in this release or if I misconfigured something during the build. I appreciate any help you can offer, and I really appreciate Percona's contributions to the community.
