Display Secrets grayed out
Asked by

I am running Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 64 bit on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop (poor choice, I know...)
I was just using Pasaffe and attempted to change the width of its window when it removed the secrets pane on the window. That is, I can see the listing of my entries and I can double-click on one to see a window open with the secrets.
But the icon for Display Secrets in the top toolbar is greyed out, and if I just single click on any entry to select it, no secrets box pops up
I do have Display Secrets by default checked in the Edit Preferences window.
What am I doing wrong and how can I enable Display Secrets again?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
