Hi!

In Nautilus, Nemo and others I can go to specific location with pressing Ctrl + L and writing the location as /var/www for example.

I can't do that i Files.

This is not really a question, but you can press Ctrl + L and the backspace to get to the parent folder and ultimately to the root folder. then you can type the path, and even use "tab" for auto completion.
If you're still not happy with the behaviour, you should report a bug.

the best way, i think, is the nautilus way ... that when somebody use CTRL+L the "GRAPHICAL path" change to text path and it's easy to edit.
