Should the folders be blue or white now?

Recently, new sets of icons in various colours were released for testing purposes. I followed the instructions and decided to use the blue theme for a while.

I noticed the icon in slingshot changed to the white theme after a recent upgrade and I decided to remove my custom theme by deleting ~/.icons altogether. The dock icon changed to white but pantheon-files kept using the blue theme.

Now I'm confused, did my system not make the change or are you now using two colours?
