Q; transparency issue?

Asked by joshua christmas

...or more over, in the current theme's gtkrc file in the gtk-2.0 directory, what would it's widget title be?

ie;
widget_class "*CPUFreqApplet*" style:highest "applet-text" <--- i picked this as an example because the font for this panel applet wouldn't change depending on certain themes and would blend in with the panel's background and someone suggested that as a workaround, which works great... although i'm not exactly sure if this solution would fix my problem with panflute.

i'm just curious because my current set up, i have the ubuntu ambiance theme loaded and my gnome-panel set to mostly transparent but the background for the time display in panflute is the colour of the panel's background; only the time though, the background is transparent for every other display in panflute. but yeah, i'd like that to be transparent as well because it really messes with the smoothness of the overall theme...

thank you much for your time.
