Add Love/Ban Last.fm buttons?

Are there any players besides last.fm (which isn't supported yet anyway) that have that kind of feature? I'm leery of adding features that don't generalize well to other players.

I currently use rhythmbox with a plugin called new style last.fm scrobbler. This adds a last.fm icon to the tray which I then need to right click on and I can choose to love or ban the track... http://bit.ly/bZvOGA

I don't know about other players unfortunately, but I was thinking it might be quite simple to do, something like, just get the users last.fm credentials and then if they hit the button go to the website and make it love or ban what the website registers as the current playing track (so the user would need a last.fm scrobbler running). This would mean that it wouldn't need to pick up the playing track from whichever player is being used, so it would generalise easily. However, I have no idea if it would really be that easy.

The big question would be, does the last.fm plugin expose its own D-Bus interface to let other programs interact with it? My guess is no, but I've never looked at it myself. You can file a wishlist bug for this feature, but I don't foresee implementing it anytime soon.
