Is there a OpenShot download for Ubuntu 14.4??

Would like to use OpenShot but I am very new to Ubuntu and have 14.4 version on my machine. The dropdown menu only goes to Ubuntu 9. Will that also work on 14.4 version???

You don't usually download software from its website in Ubuntu but rather use the package manager, which installs and updates all softwareone central spot. Ich could be compared to an app store on a smartphone.

If you type in software in the menu, you should find the software management tool there.

Open it ans search for OpenShot there.

The Links on the OpenShot website are for early versions of ubuntu which don't have it in their software repository yet.
