chapter markers for MKV files

It is possible to implement chapter markers for MKV files? There is no any light suitable video editor in Ubuntu, where I can made chapter markers visually, so I hope your editor will be able to edit such markers easily soon.

I don't think so but frankly, I don't know with certainty.
This feature is more for an authoring tool to my mind.
