Asked by Bernd Faulstich

I moved all my files to an other Harddisk. So the paths are relative the same, but absolute not.

Until now the Project path was
/media/Disk1/Photos/2011/2011_03_NiceTime/Videoschnitt/Project.osp
and the clips path was like
/media/Disk1/Photos/2011/2011_03_NiceTime/Videos/Video001.mp4

now the Project path is
/media/Disk_2_/Photos/2011/2011_03_NiceTime/Videoschnitt/Project.osp
and the clips path was like
/media/Disk_2_/Photos/2011/2011_03_NiceTime/Videos/Video001.mp4

All Movies, Titles, Audio, Pictures are INVALID. :-(

Can i set the paths to relative option?

Oh i saw, it was not from "Disk1" to "Disk_2_" it was the same Harddrive, but another subfolder, like
from /media/Disk1/Pictures/2011/...
to /media/Disk1/Photos/2011/...
So is there a option to set the saved clip-paths to a relativ path?

Hi,
Unfortunately, not yet. I know that planned but I can't tell you when.

I copied it back to the old place...
But an other workaround to handle this problem could be:
If someone Add files (drag&drop) or (+)Button and they have the same name (/same size) like used files in project a popup ask "Would you REPLACE or ADD Files". If replace, then the the paths would be updated. Id add, name got a index like (1).
If someone move files on the harddisk this would be handled in a few minutes.
?sounds good?
