FNC1 symbol in barcode

Hello.
I make an RML report with barcode of "code128 " kind.
Is there a way to insert a special FNC1 symbol (delimeter) in the barcode?

If i try to use u'\xf1' symbol, it says that can't encode it. How to work that around?

I have not found a way to do this in RML. I had to create the barcode with zint and include the image to the report.
