How specify days where Company is closed?

Is there anyplace where the company could especify the days where it is closed?

I can't find any place and it is directly related to any planning (resources, manufacturing, projects, sales, material incomes... ) and expected datas.

It's common that a company closes their doors fixed days each year, such as noel, festive days on country, festive day on town or state, fixed holidays in august.

If company is closed, nothing is done, so these festive days should be born in mind on planning in the whole system.

On the contrary... there is some companies that does not close their doors. Never. Even in the night or sunday they are working.

I couldn't find any module where calendar of company could be fixed.

Am I missing something? Exists any extra module that allows to define these holidays or closing days or company calendar?

Hello,

There are so many module available to maintain holidays regarding hr module:
hr_holidays, hr_holidays_request(related to extra-addons), hr_holidays_evaluation(related to extra-addons).

Ana Juaristi Olalde, I don't think we have a way to indicate on which days a shop or company is open/close for business.
This is something I would really like to have however, so that the scheduler does not propose shippings on week ends and holidays, and so that all durations can be expressed in "opendays" instead of "calendar days".
Would you mind filing a blueprint for this please, or would you rather have me file ?

Yes... I think is a basic functionality required on almost companies. Here in spain there is some days shops have to close their doors by law!!

Holidays for each HR is a totally different thing. I think it should exists a calendar for company that applies in general to all resources and plannings, and apart an HR or resource particular calendar where we should include each resource holidays or extra work days.

Lionel... I also consider we need opening a blueprint to manage "opendays" instead "calendar days", so I don't mind opening myself or if you prefere open it yourself. Tell me please!!
