Phantom BoM don't work

I choose phantom BoM option to show product structure in sales order and delivery slip.
It doesn't work !!

Salam Walid,

The concept of Phantom is such - Sale order will show one product, but the delivery order will show the disassembled components.

Doesn't it show you all items on Delivery order?

Phantom BOM concept should only apply to manufacturing if I'm not mistaken.

Idea is that some manufacturing components are built always same way so.. instead of including each of them on each bom, you should define one phantom component with it's sub-components.

After that when you launch a manufacturing order this phantom bom will be replaced for its sub-components. it's because of that is phantom bom. But IMHO it does not apply not to shipment not to sales order. It's a manufacturing concept.

I have another issue, Can I make one BoM for assembly & disassembly at the same time ????

I don't think so. It would be very easy adapting it to make disassembly.
You only need planning inverse stock moves on manufacturing order.
