How to maintain a price in a foreign currency

Hello,

I have a company with the currency EUR. I want to have my prices in USD. The system does not allow me to give the price directly in USD.

What I have tried was to create a price list in USD. But I need to have the price list calculate based on an existing price. This I do not want. I want to be able to enter directly the price in USD.

I created a price type called USD Price, but that price does not appear on the material master.

Any help will be welcome.

Eva,

The system will show prices always in company's base currency (EUR in your case).

When you have created the pricelist,look at the currency field within it, set USD there.

Create an Order, set that pricelist and see the values will be in USD only. Whatever prices you will eter here in order, will be considered as USD prices.

But you will not be able to enter product prices in USD.

Thank you. This is for me a very strong limitation. I consider this functionality a basis for a powerful sales system as many customers I had in the last years using SAP would request this functionality. To have only a USD price calculated and changed every week when the exchange rate is updated is not an option.

I have used the price list functionality to subtract the original price and add the USD price, but when using the web functionality, the system was showing the basis price calculated with the exchange rate as well as the USD price. But I guess I will have to wait for the webshop to be corrected to be able to have the problem sorted out.

Can you help with this problem?
