open-vm-tools for Hardy

Hi,

i'm seeking about open-vm-tools.
This package was in all Beta packages. But in release I can't find them.
What's wrong? Why is it squashed?

open-vm-tools are open source project of VmWare Inc.
It's not unstable. I can't confirm arguments of Steve Langasek
